Values are the core make up of a person’s character. They inform every decision and give people purpose and direction. Escaya is all about one value in particular: closeness. In anticipation of the first wave of future homeowners who value their time and relationships with family and friends above all else we’ve renovated the idea of closeness in the housing market.
Elements of humor and surprise (such as the two little girls braided together) are used to emphasize the village location and amenities in all of our first-touch communication pieces. In richer experiences like the website, community details are laid out in an abundance of whitespace paired with crafted textures to better represent the thoughtfully planned community and its unique combination of transitional Spanish, Farmhouse and Ranch-style homes. .

In Southern California’s iconic Orange County, Anaheim is a historically rich city founded by German immigrants and lauded as a hub for agriculture and brewing. Anaheim’s cultural roots live within a vibrant district that includes boutique shopping, dining, entertainment and unique places to work and call home. It’s the cool, walkable eclectic village that Anaheim, Orange County, and nearby urbanistas have been waiting for. But nobody knows about it.
We want new shoppers. We want new diners. We want new event-goers. We want new residents. We want new businesses. We want new development partners. So we created a website and ad campaign to reach out, intrigue, invite and recruit all kinds of people to invest their time, energy and resources in this cool, emergent destination.

From cafes around the country to your local gas station, Seattle's Best Coffee delivers excellent coffee everywhere. As a part of a larger team, I took on the cooperative brand as well as a several special promotions featured here.
Liquid holiday cheer
What does that look like exactly? A winter wonderland prominently featuring the three top-selling seasonal drinks as snow globes. In addition to creating the menu, I was able to transform Joe's confectionery into irresistible Seattle's Best Coffee branded treats through custom illustration.

I developed and launched a campaign to counteract traditionally low, after holiday sales in January and February. Through this design and concept we offered customers a chance to escape from their winter blues through fantastical art and a delicious citrus blend.

San Clemente, CA is the archetypal Southern California beach town, with historic Spanish architecture, a surf culture and a Hawaiian shirt & flip flops vibe. Enter Sea Summit, an enclave of three hundred $1 million to $4 million homes overlooking the Pacific. Blending upscale living with a low-key culture was the task at hand. The result of the multimedia launch campaign included two national awards, an extensive interest list, and a very grand opening weekend — of six thousand prospects.

Illumina is a world renowned leader in genetic innovation. They have now created a new instrument that will fundamentally change the speed and accuracy of medical and scientific laboratories across the globe. Their new invention has essentially taken all of the promise and complexity of the human genome project and made it 100 times faster - all at a price within reach. The marketing challenge: to debut this breakthrough to the greater scientific and academic community.
The solution revolved around the company’s mission to advance lives through discovery. I utilized light in scientific reactions, such as solar ink, and leveraged the phototransistor within mobile phones to unveil Illumina's newest innovation in this campaign.

Imagine a place with miles of coastline and trails accessible to everyone. Now picture these trails and this coastline connecting families, neighbors and friends to each other. Fighting cancer in this day and age is impossibly complex. There are an abundance of emotional support groups but a detrimental lack of real scientific, leading edge information out there - except for GRACE. GRACE is a powerful, unprecedented tool that directly links the world's leading doctors with patients. provides users with the highest form of patient empowerment through real science with professional translation and feedback from the world's leading doctors directly to people so they can make better informed choices about their treatment.
When GRACE came to my agency they had outgrown their old information systems and aesthetics. Through a rebrand and digital platform I was able to help position them as the powerful, helpful, credible resource they are.
